On 21st February 2011 with Dr. A.K. Roy:
Before the head operation at Sahara Hospital, Dr. A.K. Roy was looking after my wife so I preferred to continue his treatment. The prescription was the same as before except shelcal 5 mg a calcium tab was added and we were asked to come after six months for a checkup (51).
On 5th September 2011 with Dr. A.K. Roy:
Tests for hemoglobin, calcium & vitamin B12 were performed on 10th August 2011 in which vitamin B was 263.30 (should be between (211-946) considered to be on the borderline. Checking the result, Dr. Roy prescribed an injection of Vitcifol 1 ml daily for 7 days & then 1ml once weekly for 3 months to improve vitamin B12 & shelcal (calcium) was also continued. Except for this prescription was the same for the next 6 months.
On 29th January 2012 with Dr. A. K. Roy:
The same prescription except for the injection for B 12 was further continued and then testing of B12 and Folic acid was continued for the next six months.
At Pune in February 2012:
For a change, we went to Pune in Feb 2012 and lived with my elder son Sameer for 4 months. Testing of Vitamin B12 & Folic acid was done at Pune Golwalkar metropolis lab result at annex 52. Vitamin B12 was increased to 537 & folic acid was 11. (52).
On 18th July 2012 with Dr. A. K. ROY:
We were asked to continue injections further once a month. Since Singapore medicine Levomate was not available, Indian medicine Tidomet forte LS was changed. Rest prescription was the same.
On 12th February 2013 with Dr. A. K. ROY:
Now there were no changes in the prescription but injections of vitamin B12 were to continue monthly. Asked to visit after 6 months.
On 16th August 2013 with Dr. A.K. ROY:
No change in prescription except adding Selegiline 5 mg.
On 14th February 2014 with Dr. A.K. Roy:
No change in prescription except asked for testing of B12, & Folic acid.
THERAPY BY VIGEN INDIA:
It was learned through an advertisement that a new therapy (like Ceragem which was used by wife in years 2009-2010) was introduced by VIGEN INDIA a new Korean m/c named TOP and TOP -8500. The center was situated at Umama Palace Basement, sector 22 A-Block Indira Nagar Lucknow. Twenty therapy beds were installed there to give the therapy free of cost. I discussed with the Korean official whether this therapy will give any relief or not. They were not sure about this but from their literature, it was shown that it is a neck massager which will give relief to neck and backbone problems. Therapy was for 45 minutes in which rollers were moving from top to bottom of the whole body.
Besides this top and top m/c there was ETS MAT which was called Thermal massager in which one has to lie down for 30 minutes. My wife started this therapy as the staff was very cooperative. Though there was no progress in Parkinson's disease, all the pain in the body was gone. In Parkinson's disease, there were cramps in the legs which were not there till this therapy was taken. It became very difficult to go to the therapy room daily as it was situated in the basement so I purchased the m/c on 19th December 2014 along with ETS MATE. My wife was reducing weight day by day and her tail bone was exposed too much, she was feeling difficulty in doing the entire process so I returned the m/c after 4 months.
On 8th September 2014 with Dr. A. K. ROY:
Tests of B12 & Folic acid were done on 14th April 2014. B12 was 240 and folic acid was 4.52. The injection of vitamin B12 was continued.
All tests were done on 31st May 2014 with a satisfactory result. No change in prescription. (54, 55)
On 18th October 2014 with Dr. Sanjay Gupta M.D. Physician:
On 18th October 2014, in the afternoon my wife got a 102 fever with a chill. At that time no doctor was available so I called my classmate Mr. B.N. Agarwal who came to my house with his relative Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Dr. Gupta prescribed some medicines and a few tests were to be done immediately. Prescription at (56).in the test her leucocyte count was 16500 cells whereas the normal count is 4000 to 11000. Her vitamin D3 level was 4.20 instead of 75 to 250. So on 20th October 2014 some injections and medicines were started to increase vitamin D. She developed a dry cough on 25th October 2014 after the fever was over. Her treatment was continued till 15th November 2014 with Dr. Gupta.
