18th January 2005 WITH Dr. AK. ROY:

On 18th January 2005, a new drug Entacom 200 mg was added three times a day with Syndopa plus three times a day and Travastal LA one time only for 2 weeks to test the combination. Attached below (25):

At SGPGI ON 4th April 2005:

In prescription of Dr. Roy's drug Entacom did not suit my wife so Dr. Pradhan switched over to Sinemet 110 four times a day. The rest was the same.

At Hyderabad again:

My daughter-in-law Arpana gave birth to our granddaughter Aarushi on 19th January 2005 so we went again to Hyderabad on 22nd May 2005 by flight. My daughter-in-law’s mother came from Ahmedabad to assist before the delivery. We lived there for 15 days and came back to Lucknow.

On 9th June 2005 at Dr. Roy:

The same prescription was given by Dr. Pradhan. The prescription of Dr. Roy dated 9th June 2005 is attached below. Ropark 5 three times a day was added (26).

The function of the marriage of my youngest son Gaurav:

The marriage of my youngest son Gaurav was fixed on 18th November 2005 with Sonal (CA), daughter of Dr. V.K. Bhargava resident of Kanpur.

As I have previously written, for reasons not known drug Sinemet did not work sometimes and my wife did not come in on position and sat like a dumb doll and was not able to perform domestic work. And so, it was decided that a very simple marriage will be performed. Functions like the Bhaat ceremony, ring ceremony, and taking Barat to Kanpur were not organized. No cards of marriage were sent to relatives except the Wedding Reception invitation that was fixed on 19th November 2005.

Since Gaurav was serving in Singapore, court marriage was fixed on 14th November 2005 in DM court for which registration was done two months before. On 14th November 2005 ring exchange ceremony was also performed before court marriage and only family members of both sides were present. Marriage time at Kanpur was fixed in the day at 5 PM. Only our family members went to Kanpur by car. Due to tension or any other reason my wife could not come in on position during the whole marriage ceremony. Gaurav's in-laws arranged dinner during the night but my wife was not able to take part in the photo session and dinner. So I, with my wife returned to Lucknow the same night by car.

At Dr. Roy on 10th May 2006:

My wife felt some vertigo/giddiness for 4 or 5 days, so I consulted Dr. Roy on 10th May 2006. Dr. Roy prescribed Tab Vertin 8 mg three times a day for 7 days and two times for the next week along with the same previous prescription of Dr. Sunil Pradhan of SGPGI for Parkinson's.

Physiotherapy by Dr. Soni Tripathi:

Started physiotherapy at home by Dr. Soni Tripathi (MPT-NEURO) from Lucknow university as advised by Dr. A. K.Roy.

The main reason to start physiotherapy was freezing of gait (FOG) meaning a reduction of forward progression of feet despite the intention to walk. It is one of the most motor debilitating motor systems with Parkinson's disease in which feet are stuck and it may lead to falling. There is no medicine for this gait freezing. Daily, Soni first mobilized all joints, to avoid sudden changes in posture, taught how to stand from bed or chair in off position, how to walk, coordinate, balance, etc. for which she has prepared a chart which is attached below (27):

I always carried the chart with me when we went outstation for a long time. Soni also studied new exercises to treat Parkinson's but except for feeling fit, there was no change in Parkinson's disease. Sony gave me the table of food compositions which is attached below (28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33):

In this manual, you can consult all the values of raw food. In my wife's case, I selected and discarded the maximum protein items like dairy products and minimum use of some Masalas (Condiments & Spices). Physiotherapy improves the quality of life and helps in the prevention of falls in Parkinson's and in many other diseases. Soni started physiotherapy in the year 2006 to April 2013 till her marriage. After that, her clinic partner named Krishna continued physiotherapy till the last day. At present Soni is in Mumbai and her contact information is: +919975165497

With Dr. SUNIL PRADAN on 21st April 2006:

A new Indian company medicine was written i.e., LCD 110 three times a day rest same. See below (34):

With Dr. Roy on 24th August 2006:

Same prescription of Dr. Pradhan with tab Pramirole 0.25 mg two times. This was to increase the On position and decrease the Off-position time.

With Dr. Shubh Mehrotra MS on 3rd October 2006:

The same problem of back pain and body pain was seen and the same prescription of the set of injections of vitamin D3 & B-12 with calcium was prescribed.

With Dr. Bela Kamboj MS (Ophthalmology):

After a long 10 years of use of Sinemet / Syndopa /Tidomet one other problem in her eyes was developed. After the use of Sinemet when my wife came in on position her eyes were automatically closed. She was not able to open her eyes frequently. In the off position, her eye-opening was absolutely normal. Dr. Bela could not assess any reason. Eyes were found perfect 6/6 vision with specs. Prescription below (35)

With Dr. Roy on 1st December 2006:

Sinemet / Syndopa /tidomate110 reduced to ¾ instead of 1 but to be given 5 times a day. Rest prescription same as per SGPGI.

Note: I am not a doctor, please consult a Neuro physician for diagnosis and treatment for Parkinson's, here I have narrated the journey of my wife's Parkinson's journey.
