8th March 1999 at SGPGI Lucknow: -
At this time Duodopa 125 was replaced by Sinemet CR 200 – two times a day. Medicines of different companies and different combinations were tried but after trial, I myself replaced it with Sinemet 110 as the medicines did not suit her.
25th June 1999 at SGPGI Lucknow: -
On 25th June 1999, Dr. Pradhan increased the dose of Sinemet 110 to 1.5-1.5-1.5 three times a day and reduced Amental from 2 to 1. Also, tab Pacitane was reduced to 1/2-1/2 two times. The previous prescription dated 29th May 1998 and dated 8th March 1999 did not suit my wife so the above change was made at my request.
This prescription below ( 12 ) continued up to 9th July 2001. On each visit on 6th December 1999, 13th March 2000, and 25th September 2000 there was no change in the prescription.
For a change, I took the membership of GENESIS CLUB Lucknow in September 1999 and started taking regular part playing Houses and having dinner every Sunday with my wife whenever I was in Lucknow.
My elder son Sameer was at Ghaziabad and we shifted there by train and lived comfortably with the prescription of SGPGI Lucknow though on & off position was the same as before. We also traveled by rickshaw so many times for shopping. While living at Ghaziabad we could get to know of a center in New Delhi where Parkinson's was treated by gamma rays.
At Rancan Gamma Knife Centre Nehru Nagar New Delhi on 5th May 2001: -
We went to Gamma Knife Center New Delhi from Ghaziabad as it was known that Parkinson's treatment is available through gamma rays there, Dr. Maheep Singh Gaur after inspection said that it is not the fit case for operation and wrote almost the same medicines as per SGPGI Lucknow (13). So, we came back to Ghaziabad and afterward to Lucknow.
9th July 2001 at SGPGI:-
Dr. Pradhan on a trial changed Sinemet CR 1-1-1 three times instead of Sinemet 110. Sinemet CR is called controlled release tab capacity 200/50.
At Dr. C.V. Pandey on 2nd September 2001: -
There was an acute throat infection with nausea so I consulted Dr. C.V.Pandey E.N.T. His prescription is below (14):
8th October 2001 at SGPGI: -
Sinemet plus 125 three times a day was replaced in place of Sinemet CR and Softovac Powder one teaspoon for constipation and rest was same to be continued on 15th March 2002 visit for next 6 months (15).
